Description

Shakey Jake, Mouth Harp Blues (Prestige/Bluesville BVLP 1027) (1961).

The singer and harmonica-player's second Bluesville LP, recorded in November 1960 with Jimmie Lee [Robinson] (guitar), etc.

Mouth Harp Blues/Love My Baby/Jake's Cha Cha/Gimme a Smile/My Broken Heart/Angry Love/Things Is Alright/Easy Baby/Things Are Different Baby/It Won't Happen Again

Condition: disc has a few light scuffs but no visible wear. Jacket is in original shrinkwrapping which was long ago sealed with sellotape. Some of the latter has come away, leaving a small stained strip on the back near the open edge. "RW" rubber-stamped in red on back. Otherwise jacket is very sound and clean, with no slits or bumps and only minimal wear at the open-edge corners. A very good copy of this considerable rarity.
