Mp3 and turntable statement.
I try my best to describe records accurate going into detail on what I observe.We all know records can look one way and play another.I usually always include an mp3 of how it well or not it played on my turntables so you can get a good idea of what to expect.As there are many variables between records and equipment, I cannot however be responsible for how a record plays on your system.


As to condition.The vinyl is in very good shape overall.A few light superficial marks/hairlines.The story behind this record is vague.There is scattered info on the man Frank Canizio on the internet.He was in prison back in the 1950's and a book was written on him.Excerpts from an abstract I found are below.A movie to be made was mentioned,but no reference to it being made can be found.I have embedded both sides and a pitched version of one song which I made the tempo better to me.Songs are Rock Along-Living In A

Unjustly imprisoned after growing up in orphanages and reform schools, Frank Canizio became known as an escape artist. His daring but futile attempts to find and exploit the weak spots in prison walls only added years to his sentence. Finally, after encouragement from the words of Emerson, a guitar inherited from an older prisoner, a Catholic Father's faith and self-study, he appeTill The Day I Die" it the story of Frank Canizio, and was written by Robert Markel from tace recordincs made by Canizio. This method has given the book an aliixst brutal force. Here we listen to the real voice of a suffering human, and it is not an easy experience. The portrait of himself which Canizio presents contains little of either self-oitv or self-justification: it is the portrait of a naked human soul, often grievously wrong; sav- age, naung, 'somciimcs vrciuua, no fights and snarls like a tormented animal. But it is the portrait of a whole man, who also had the courage to carry him through this purgatory to a place among free men. Frank Canizio s mother died when he was five years old, and he was, sent by his father to a Roman Catholic omhanaae. It was the beginning ' of a terrible pilgrimage through institutions of increasing harshness. Many times he . attempted to escape from the orphanage, and was eventually involved .in an attack on one of the Brothers. This led to three years in a boys' prison. Not long after his release, Canizio went on an outing up the river with two other youths. He describes it as the only happy day of his life. "For the first time 1 felt a little free of who I was and where I came from and my family and everything that had been wrong. Nothing seemed to matter now except that people should think I was okay and that the day should never end." It ended grimly. The boys took a cab home from the wharf, but found they did not have enough money to pay. They were later arrested and charged . with holding up the taxidriveiv ANIZIO, rated as an incorrig-ible, was persuaded to plead guilty, and to his horror was sentenced to 15 years. He fought his fate like a wild beast; twice he escaped and was recaptured with violence. Eventually, he was given sentences that would keep him behind bars for the rest of his life. Then somehow there was a change. Canizio, uneducated, almost illiterate, began to read, inspired by a tattered copy of Emerson in his cell. He learned to play the guitar and even com-"posed songs 'which be Sang with it. Helped by a fellow convict, he began to study law, and found a technical flaw in his original conviction. He petitioned the Courts for a rehearing, was rejected again and. again, but finally, won through! and just before Christmas, 1954, was granted his freedom.
