AFTER A LONGER INTERVAL THAN I HAD EXPECTED, I'M BACK TO SELLING SOME MORE RECORDS THAT JUST DON'T GET LISTENED TO THESE DAYS. I also have a number of books, magazines etc which I will list over the coming months.This listing is my own stuff, off my own shelves. I have graded as conservatively as always. Whilst some of these look a bit "scruffy" all those I've play-checked play a bit better than graded. Good luck!

Two of the hotter sides by the Jack Hylton Orchestra. Graded at E- owing to some greying grooves on each side, nevertheless it plays up to E on my set-up here.

POSTAGE and SHIPPING Ebay have now returned to a maximum shipping charge of £4.00 for shipping and packing of any one record to an address in the UK. Unfortunately, they have regarded all types of records as requiring the same packaging.The maximum of £4.00 they have quoted is fair enough for one LP record in a purpose made LP record-mailing box, but as nearly everyone reading this will know...a 78 record shipped in an LP mailer will invariably arrive in about seven pieces!! (Yes, I know what I'm talking about -on two occasions at least I've received discs like this.) 78rpm records are nearly always shellac and brittle, and require careful packing to avoid breakages. As I pack carefully and buy in proper packing materials (see my Feedback) the only way I can meet Ebay's latest edict without losing money on everything I sell is to post single discs in the UK at 2nd. Class Parcel Rate only. This means you will wait a bit longer for your disc. I am sorry for this inconvenience to you, but I am sure most bidders will understand. I will, of course, ship at First Class Rate if asked to do so. As a long-time collector and buyer myself, I am all too aware of how much it costs to pack and ship fragile 78s, and have never charged more than is necessary to meet that cost. I need hardly add the maximum of £4.00 applies to a single disc only. IF YOU WIN MORE THAN ONE ITEM THEN THIS WILL NOT BE THE FINAL SHIPPING COST. I'm sure most bidders will be aware of this, but I thought it only fair to make it clear. These maximum shipping costs apply to the UK only. To ship one disc to the USA works out at about $25, including the cost of the box. Obviously, a parcel with three or four discs works out cheaper per disc. I normally ship overseas at Air Mail, Small Packet rate. (I will ship via Surface Mail if asked, but this usually means you wait up to eight weeks for your parcel.....and, curiously, it's not that much cheaper!) As always, if anyone is concerned about shipping costs please contact me before the listing ends, and I'll do my best to help. FINALLY....please wait for my invoice before paying for your discs! The final shipping cost may well be less than Ebay's "standard" figure.
