Description

Tom Darby & Jimmie Tarlton, Hard Time Blues/Pork Chops (Columbia 15611-D).

Vocal duet (or Darby solo on Hard Time) with steel guitar and guitar. Recorded in Atlanta, April 1930. Only 1814 copies sold.

Condition: visually E/E+. An almost imperceptible dig on Hard Time clicks three times during the guitar intro. That apart, this is a lovely copy showing minimal wear and no damage. Labels immaculate. It could be a long time before you saw a better example of this scarce record.

Note to buyers: postage rates quoted are estimates. If, once I've packed and weighed your record(s), I find the postage charge is less than my estimate, the surplus will be promptly refunded. Multiple wins may be consolidated, and postage rates will be revised accordingly.
