PLEASE READ BEFORE BIDDING: Please read the entire auction listing, including shipping costs, before writing to ask a question. OUR GOAL IS CUSTOMER SATISFACTION. In the unlikely instance that you feel the need to open a resolution dispute before working with us, you will immediately be blocked from any further chance to acquire the rare music we present each and every week. Payment is required within seven days. We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office.Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has became very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable and will result in blocking the bidder. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our 8000 plus positive feedback. We use a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. Thee Boston psychedelic group FREEBOURNE is full of outstanding developed melodic self compositions accompanied by acidy guitar leads and drifting keyboards with stoned vocals all adding up to a superb underground album, aptly titled "Peak Impressions".
'Peak Impressions' is an authentic psychedelic effort, suitable for fans of early Pink Floyd, C.A. Quintet, The Doors, and Arthur Lee's Love "Forever Changes." , etc.

This "monster-rated" & extremely rare LP is one of those superb laid-back kind of authentic psych gems that overflows with ideas and experimentation, drenched in charming sensibilities while at the same time remaining with an ostensibly low budget. It’s not showy or self-conscious, it just has a pure and pleasant trippy vibe that makes great use of keyboards - inc. harpsichord , recorder , chimes and arrangement ideas trying new forms and succeeding !
Aficionados of 1960s psychedelic rock recognize the Freeborne’s 1968 album Peak Impressions as one of the best and most collectable records in the genre. Formed in 1966 as an offshoot of two Boston-area garage bands (The Missing Links and the Indigos), the Freeborne have remained something of an enigma; avoiding both the limelight and the eventual stigma associated with the “Bosstown” fad. Their eclectic musical vision, which incorporates complex musical textures, sophisticated composition, creative studio effects, elements of jazz tinges, rock, blues, and free-form sounds, all create a truly ambitious period piece from the turbulent day-glow Sixties.
Original copies of Freebourne while hedging on the level of collectibles like that of C.A. Quintet, have become few and far available; sought demand is soaring the item through the $$$ roof in collector circles.
