Description

Mega-rare 'Scary Tales featuring John Zacherley' horror-spoof LP! Rare white-label promotional DJ copy manufactured by Parkway Records U.S. in 1962 for radio stations. (see pictures).

Lp looks VG/VG+ with light scratches, none of which can be felt. Plays NM! I made a cd copy & it sounds great. If the winner would like a copy I will be happy to include it.

Both custom DJ labels are clean, bright white with no writing or marks.

Old-style laminated cover is near mint with only light wear on the lower right opening corner. Original Parkway catalog inner sleeve, with an ad for Zacherley's Monster mash' album & others, is also NM. Satisfaction guaranteed!

I found the Zacherle (sic) 'Dinner With Drac Parts 1& 2' single pictured inside the cover so I'm including it as bonus in this auction. It's only in fair condition, but hey, it's free!

Oh, by the way, the first song 'Scary Tales' is an early trick-track, meaning depending on where the needle catches the groove it plays a different set of lyrics! Very cool.

E-mail me if you have any questions. Check out my other auctions for more scarce vinyl. Thanks!
