SCOTT SESKIND self-titled 1985 SSW downer masterpiece
This has been a big grower for me. The more I listen to this record the more its subtle mastery of song form becomes apparent. Seskind is a true original and his songs mix the freewheeling structures of Burt Bacharach with lyrics that capture all the dread of living in the city (in this case Los Angeles), all performed in a fearlessly unadorned style, almost completely solo on four-track cassette. I photoed the sealed replacement I found for this but decided to keep that copy. Please note the one you're bidding on is open but only played a few times. It's a nearly perfect EX/EX copy with superficial scuffing only.

I only use five strict, visual grades: G / VG / VG+ / EX / NM. My VG+ beats most sellers' VG+++. Please note that shipping costs recently went up in the US.
