Description

Up for auction is a rare SPECIAL1985 YEAR-END EDITION original Scott Shannon’s Rockin’ America Top 30 Countdown of 1985 radio show set, distributed by Westwood One Radio Network.

  • Airdate: January 4, 1986
  • Program #86-01
  • Special Edition: Year-End Countdown of the Top 30 Hits of 1985
  • Format: 3 LP vinyl records (with original sleeves)
  • Includes: Original cue sheets with full Top 30 list, commercials, and local insert notes
Condition:
  • Records: Vinyl is VG+ – only played once for original broadcast use and another time for testing; as is common with vintage radio LPs from this era, there may be a very slight natural storage warp (STILL PLAY PERFECT; no visible scratches).
  • Cue sheets show some handling wear, check marks, and light age discoloration (see photos), but are complete.

These sets were only pressed for radio station airplay and were never available in stores. Very collectible and especially sought after with the year-end countdown theme.
