SCOTT WALKER: SCOTT 3 1969 1st UK STEREO PRESSING ON PHILIPS Cat No. SBL.7882
First UK pressing of this sought-after album.
A really clean copy which belies its age and sounds terrific. CONDITION OF VINYL Beautiful-looking shiny vinyl with no significant blemishes. Plays really well throughout with minimal surface noise. Overall grade is EX.
CONDITION OF SLEEVE The gatefold sleeve is mostly okay but has issues along the spine. There are small areas of heavy wear at the top and bottom, plus a 15mm section just below halfway where the printed and laminated surface has come away and the card beneath is exposed - please see the close-up photos. The front and back sections are also slightly misaligned, suggesting that the LP may have been stored flat for a while with considerable weight on top which affected the squareness of the spine. I will grade the sleeve as G.
