SCREAMIN' JAY HAWKINS - 'WHAT THAT IS' Super rare!!!
UK original 1st pressing on black/silver MERCURY labels.
SMCL 20178. STEREO. (1969). First issue matrix and fully laminated sleeve.
Far, far rarer than the USA pressing on Philips.
Earl Palmer - Drums, Herb Ellis - Guitar, Graham(e) Bond - Piano.
Brilliant tracks throughout, including the legendary 'Constipation Blues' and 'Feast Of The Mau Mau.'
Sleeve grades EXCELLENT PLUS (EX+) or better. Vinyl grades strong EXCELLENT PLUS (EX+) or better. Superb example and a final upgrade.
UK fully laminated sleeve grades full EXCELLENT PLUS (EX+) condition. It is in very solid respectable shape! No writing, No tip-ins, No repairs. No rips. No taped areas. Clean and solid condition with only very minimal signs of age and handling wear. Spine text is all there and readable. As good as you will find.
The glossy vinyl grades EXCELLENT PLUS or higher (EX++). There are no skips or jumps. Truly incredible clear sound and full MONO mix. A couple of extremely light wispy marks that do not sound. Plays clearly, with barely any background noise or static. It sounds brilliant.
Original inner sleeve. No issues.

UK buyers - ignore the £4.50 cap on postage that eBay suggests on the listing. Royal Mail Special Delivery with full insurance to UK destinations will be £7.50.
I pay for my packaging materials, so I include the price of this with my postage rates. I pack all LP's in two heavy duty cardboard cruciform mailers with loads of brown parcel tape.
