Description
CBS 201767: SCREAMING LORD SUTCH & THE SAVAGES: HONEY TUSH/ THE TRAIN KEPT A'ROLLIN' 45RPM NEAR MINT
I'm selling this because it would be a sacrilege to remove the centre in order to play it on my jukebox. I've played each side once on my friend's turntable and didn't hear a single 'pop', never mind a skip or scratch etc. It really is a gem. At the time of finding it, I didn't know it was Ritchie Blackmore playing guitar - I just knew it was someone with a lot of talent! WIKI lists the following as the (probable) line-up:
- Dave Sutch (lead vocals)
- Ritchie Blackmore (lead guitar)
- Arvid Andersen (bass)
- Jim "Tornado" Evans (drums)
- Dick Errington (tenor saxophone)
- Noel McManus (tenor saxophone)
- Reg Price (tenor saxophone)
- Ashton 'Toots' Toothill (baritone saxophone)
I do have other records to be listed soon- all in great condition, but none is as rare as this one. Thanks for looking: good luck with the bidding!.
