PLEASE READ BEFORE BIDDING: Please read the entire auction listing, including shipping costs, before writing to ask a question.   OUR GOAL IS CUSTOMER SATISFACTION. In order to meet that goal, we will ALWAYS work with our customers on any concerns that may arise. In the unlikely instance that you feel the need to open a resolution dispute before working with us, you will immediately be blocked from any further chance to acquire the rare music we present each and every week.   Payment is required within seven days. We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office.Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has become very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable and will result in blocking the bidder. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our 8000 plus positive feedback.   We use a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery.   We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. Please give us 5 stars in each category through the feedback system, and we will be able to effectively continue to fulfill your passion for rare and collectible music! We have served thousands of satisfied customers - far more than our feedback records indicate - and our aim is to continue to do so. STILL SEALED !  RARE limited edition from Los Angeles issued in 1969 as an awareness benefit album aimed at the teen-scene with the advice that "SPEED KILLS" ... surprisingly filled with some of the top names of the era including the BEATLES of all things, but also other hip underground acts of the era, Buffalo Springfield, The Byrds, Canned Heat, The Animals, Jefferson Airplane, Jimi Hendrix Experience...and as well it's topped off with terrific underground psychrock obscurities "THINGS TO COME" and Los Angeles GENESIS ... Things to Come incidentally issued a demo only fuzz-punk-psych LP that fetches a small fortune ... here's a great track from "SPEED KILLS" by "Things To Come"...click on this next line and LISTEN! >>>Things To Come - Dancer

The record is an anti-drugs message album compiled by the Do It Now Foundation, the Southern California non-profit that opened an office on the Sunset Strip in Hollywood at the height of the hippie era...The concept of the record comes across rather well. There's Canned Heat's "Amphetamine Annie" kicking it off, with it's "Speed Kills" chorus, Hoyt Axton's powerful original version of "The Pusher" (later covered by Steppenwolf) that makes one wonder what the hell happened with his later stuff. There's the Byrds "Artificial Energy," perfect for this album. Chad & Jeremy doing the cool "Progress Suite, Movement 3" with sitars and flutes and trippy lyrics. Of course, Jimi's "Red House" sounds great anywhere. Side two offers "Flying On the Ground is Wrong" by Buffalo Springfield," one of Neil's early glimmers of brilliance, and the Beatles' "Nowhere Man," a surprise that seemed too good to be true. Jefferson Airplane "Somebody to Love" amd a fabulous piece by Eric Burdon & the Animals ("When I Was Young") and Donovan's hip "Sunshine Superman" ... but for us, the real treats are the tracks by 'Things To Come' and California 'Genesis' ... fuzz-psych glories!
