Description
Songs for the Gentle Man was a 1971 folk rock album by singer-songwriter Bridget St John. A follow up to her highly successful debut album, Songs for the Gentle Man propelled her to cult status in the United Kingdom. The album was produced by Ron Geesin, who had worked with Pink Floyd. St John, is best known for the three albums she recorded between 1969 and 1972 for John Peel's Dandelion record label. In 1974 she was voted fifth most popular female singer in that year's Melody Maker readers poll.
Original 1971 LP on Elektra/Dandelion (EKS-74104) has hole punched at upper left corner(front perspective)but is STILL sealed in original shrinkwrap after 43 years, there is patches of light grey blemishing under the shrinkwrap (see pics) from age, tiny openings in wrap at 3 of 4 corners.
