Description
BRAND NEW - SEALED IN FACTORY SHRINK WRAP - 180 GRAM VINYL BOX SET - LIMITED EDITION - REMASTERED - EXCELLENT CONDITION - 2012 - PARLOPHONE EMI RECORDS LTD. - BLURBOXLP1 - 603497 913411 (UPC Code) - Lacquer Cut At Abbey Road Studios
Notes
All 7 special edition albums on 180 gram vinyl, including codes to download the albums as high quality MP3s. I purchased this new on Amazon UK. I am not sure if every box set has the sticker written in French. On the bottom right corner (both back & front) I placed some clear tape to hold together a tear—in the plastic only—about one inch long (due to shelf wear). See photos.
Description [from Amazon]
Blur’s first five studio albums have now been remastered from the original tapes by Frank Arkwright (The Smiths, Arcade Fire, New Order, Joy Division), with the remastering overseen by legendary producer, Stephen Street. All seven original Blur albums have now been given the space of 2 LPs (expect for Leisure which remains a single LP), cut on heavyweight 180 gram, audiophile vinyl and housed in a replica of the original sleeve artwork. All seven vinyl formats of the Blur albums are collected together for Blur 21: The Vinyl Box and housed in a sturdy hard case, presenting the definitive collection of Blur vinyl. Uncut – August 2012 – 9/10 “A Smart, stylish Audio-Visual Blowout” Mojo – August 2012 - ***** “Extraordinary... The King Tutankhamun’s tomb of everything Blur; and one whose vast treasures help us understand ever more clearly the precise nature of their musical triumphs and contradictions." Record Collector “...One of the most essential archival collections of any band.”
