Elvis Presley — Almost in Love
Label: RCA Camden – CAS-2440
Format: Vinyl, LP, Stereo
Country: USA
Released: 1970
Genre: Rock, Pop, Stage & Screen
Style: Soundtrack, Pop Rock 💿 DESCRIPTION
Issued on RCA’s budget Camden imprint, this compilation gathers Elvis’s late-1960s movie and studio tracks, including “A Little Less Conversation”, “Rubberneckin’”, and “Edge of Reality.” It was part of RCA’s effort to repackage recent material at lower retail prices, reaching department-store audiences rather than record-shop buyers.
The cover features a close-up photo of Elvis in blue stage attire with gold background, and the back advertises three other Camden LPs (Flaming Star, Let’s Be Friends, Elvis’ Christmas Album), a hallmark of early Camden layout consistency from 1970.
💎 CONDITION VINYL: Presumed MINT (unplayed) COVER: Factory-sealed, never opened 🧾 NOTES FOR COLLECTORS-
“TMK(S) ® by RCA Corporation / ©1970 RCA Records, New York, N.Y. • Printed in U.S.A.” confirms an original 1970 issue.

This variant precedes the mid-1970s RCA reissues that carried the orange label or the blue Camden label with updated copyright line.
-
Early copies like this one often came with turquoise or light blue Camden labels featuring “STEREO” at bottom rim — consistent with 1970 transitional print runs.
-
