Description
Available for purchase is a one-of-a-kind item, truly a rare opportunity for the chamber music collector. A factory-sealed copy of the original US Columbia issue (Stereo "360 Sound") of the Budapest String Quartet's 1962 release featuring the late String Quartets of Beethoven. The repertoire on this 5-disc set includes Op. 127, Op. 130, Op. 131, Op. 132, Op. 133, and Op. 135.
The cover shows only the slightest indications of wear. Certainly mint by any standard, with no evidence of color-fading or sun exposure. The sealed, manufacturer's plastic covering shows every indication of its 50-year age. In particular you'll note the small openings of the wrapping on various edges of the box.
