Description
The Rolling Stones - Goats Head Soup LP
Rolling Stones Records COC 39106
Sealed 1977 gatefold pressing with second catalog number. Has "Angie" hype sticker on the front and larger track listing sticker on the back cover.
All-around a very clean copy, close to EX with just a tiny tiny bit of corner wear and a small cut-out notch on the top right corner, so I'm grading it VG+. Shrink has a small split at the top left corner (about 1.5 or 2 inches from the corner to the letter N in "Rolling") but is otherwise clean and tight.
GRADING:
NM (near mint) is the highest grade for a record in beautiful shape.
EX (excellent) means there is very little to no wear -- a small, inaudible surface mark on the vinyl or a small bend on the sleeve
VG+ (very good plus) means the record has minor wear -- sleeve creased and/or shows a slight ring impression, vinyl shows cosmetic signs of handling
VG (very good) means the sleeve shows multiple flaws (sticker tear, seam split, ring wear, rumpled top) and the disc has multiple small scratches but plays ok
VG- (very good minus) means the sleeve is "well loved" with numerous flaws while the vinyl is exhibits many flaws and is noisy
G (good) means the sleeve contains major flaws such as large tears, heavy staining, etc., while the vinyl is beat but playable with no skips
