Led Zeppelin IV  also known as "ZOSO"

INCREDIBLE FIND:  A 1970's original Record Club of America pressing, still sealed!

Mail-order record retailer Record Club of America was based in York, Pennsylvania from the late 1960's to the mid-'70's.  It wasn't affiliated with any label, but offered pretty much everything that was in the (then-famous) Schwann Record Catalog.  When you joined the club you got mailings every few weeks flogging the latest releases; there were no minimum purchases required to fulfill any contract, surprisingly (unlike all the other mail-order record clubs of the day). 

This Zep album is exactly as released by Atlantic at the time (since of course it was licensed from Atlantic), with nothing printed on the front, back, or on the spine indicating the artist or title.  Gatefold cover, naturally.

It's flat and square, stored upright for the last 46 years by a serious collector who understood the present and future value of such recordings, from his first purchases to his last.  We won't see many more TOP COPY records like this changing hands for much longer, folks!

NOTE: there is a tear in the shrink in the lower left corner of the back cover where the record club label is (please see the final image); no damage to that small area of exposed cover.

The record is presumed to play in Mint condition, since this album has been sealed since the 1970's !
