Description
Sealed. Stone mint. Ultra rare Tame Impala Lonerism deluxe box set with exclusive turquoise colored double LP, CD of the entire album, 7" featuring the song Beverly Laurel (only available with this box set), double sided poster featuring the album cover image and message from the band, 3 button badges and sticker. The vinyl is splattered and particularly visible when held against the light. What makes this one extra special and particularly collectable are the extras included with it. This one comes with the original Australian Modular Records stamped mailer (see photos 1 and 6), a letter of apology on Modular Records letterhead (there were a few mix-ups on their end, see photo 3) and as a token of apology they also included a very rare original promotional pin and download card for the very first Tame Impala EP from 2008 (see photos 4 & 5). This box set was limited to the number of people that pre-ordered it and even fewer surely bothered to keep the original Modular mailer. Impeccable provenance and exactly the kind of thing serious psych collectors are looking for. Rightly hailed as a modern psych masterpiece, this one will become even more collectable as Kevin Parker's star continues to rise.
