Description
PLEASE NOTE: I WILL ONLY GRADE AN OPENED LP NEAR MINT (NM) IF I CAN GUARANTEE IT HAS NEVER BEEN PLAYED (i.e. I AM THE ORIGINAL OWNER). OTHERWISE, NEAR MINT MINUS (NM-) IS THE ABSOLUTE HIGHEST GRADE I WILL ASSIGN AN OPENED LP.
Rare, still sealed original limited 4AD pressing from 2012 on grey marbled vinyl. Also includes a beautiful, very rare in-store promotional poster from 4AD sent to stores to promote the album upon release in 2012 in stunning condition. Also includes the original custom barcoded Reckless Records label dated February, 2012 and listed as new so you know it's legit. Auction also includes the original receipt dated February 9, 2012 (which means I snapped it quickly) from when I bought this rarity 10 years ago at their Wicker Park store here in Chicago. Looks like I also picked up a George Brigman & Split 45, an Invaders LP, a Real Estate LP, an Of Montreal LP and an LP by Nick Cave's pre-Birthday Party outfit Boys Next Door (that I actually sold to Henry Garfield (aka Rollins) a few years ago. True story.). I bought this new and filed it away in my personal collection until today when I took these photos. Four sharp corners and not a hint of ring. A stunning copy with a rare store promo poster and airtight provenance that can be traced to the day and point of purchase. This is as mint as it gets. You will not be disappointed.
I USE GOLDMINE GRADING: MINT (SEALED)
NEAR MINT: LOOKS UNPLAYED VG++: VERY VERY MINIMAL SIGNS OF USE
VG+: AVERAGE SIGNS OF USE, NOTHING DEEP, SUPERFICIAL VG: STILL AN OK RECORD, NOISE BETWEEN SONGS
GOOD: WORN BUT PLAYS FINE WITH DISTRACTING NOISE POOR: FILLER COPY ONLY. LOTS OF SCRATCHES
