We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office.Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has become very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable and will result in blocking the bidder. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our 8000 plus positive feedback.   We use a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery.   We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. Here is an authentic 100% (((ACID ARCHIVES))) 1973 first pressing... the FIRST of three Lp's developed and released by a small college in Blue Bell Pennsylvania -- from over 40 years ago ...

This rare Lp comprises of various members of the student body. The musicians deliver a highly diverse mix of underground rock, as well as poetry recitations, and acoustic driven "downer" folk by members of the Montgomery County Community College of Bluebell, PA.

A "fan" of this album says::::  " You could write a whole book on that front cover, or at least spend a decade psychoanalyzing the cat who drew it (that's S. Alvare, by the way, he actually SIGNED it - search those WANTED posters at the local post office now). Mr. Alvare's incorporated elements of Alice in Wonderland (the Caterpillar and the Cheshire cat) along with the Bible (the serpent and the apple) and some of the WORST depth perception in the history of Art. Where exactly the shrouded figure pointing to Horse Boy came from is a mystery - looks like Led Zeppelin's version of MR. ED - and if this is the best that the Montgomery County Community College's Art Department could do in 1973, then someone should've driven down the street to Villanova and paid some hippie chick from Figure Drawing 101 to do the honors. Luckily, the music department's solid, and in between the VERY 70's dramatic recitations, there are a few fascinating freak folk gems to be found here. Highlights include the morose cracked ballad "Comin' Up Like Roses," which sounds a lot like Love's classic downer "Signed DC" with its strumming minor key acoustic guitar and feel-good lyrics like these:

"I've had this feeling once before in my life,

Just like I know what comes next.

At the point where hurt has no pain,

And I won't settle but for the best.

But things are good now, Lords knows we've seen the bad.

I get it all together in my mind."

I think by "the bad" he means the cover art to this album. Also check out "The Dancer," a slow-burning ballad that sounds like the downer version of "Piano Man" (if that's even possible). Granted, not every groove on Latitudes 1973-1974 is worthy of your next mix tape, but there's enough downer folk and 70's camp here to raise a smile or two. Like the Cheshire Cat. Or Horse Boy and Death the Accuser.

CONDITION: STILL FACTORY SEALED ... a perfect copy...flat & square with 4 sharp corners in thick cardboard cover that has not been opened in over 40 years ... never opened / never played !
