Description

Offered is an out of print Sealed Soundtrack LP titled, "Withnail And I."
This Mint factory sealed album is on the DRG Records label, SRL-12590. This first pressing album was issued in 1987.
This particular Soundtrack is unique in that it features an original Beatles recording of "While My Guitar Gently Weeps."
The Beatles rarely allowed their original recordings to be used on any other albums. However, the exception was grudgingly made on this record due to the fact that George Harrison was one of the producers and his production company, HandMade Films funded the film!
Also, it is claimed the reason the film is now out of print is the family of Jimi Hendrix objected to any of the late star's recordings to be used in association with drug and alcohol abuse. There are two Hendrix recordings on this album, "All Along The Watchtower" and "Voodoo Chile."

This album is factory sealed and the record and labels are assumed Mint.
