Scotti, Growing Pains

From Scotti Bruning, original 1976 private pressing, Strawberry Records SR-486. (There is no date listed on jacket, but Strawberry 202, is dated 1975 and he issued only four LPs.)

Very limited pressing of Colorado artist. Hard to locate outside of the Rocky Mountain area.

Mega rare original private pressing of Scotti - Growing Pains on Strawberry Records.  This LP is very similar to For Friends (Strawberry 1).  Inviting and with just enough invention, inspired creativity and taste, and competent studio production to make it a cut above the typical records in this idiom. The style of songs ranges from dreamy folk to soft pop folk with sunshine pop influences to baroque folk (think Donovon).  Strong studio production and effects, including echo effects, sophisticated multi-tracking, phase shift effects on guitars and vocals.  Strong instrumental playing, very tasty and sophisticated musical arrangements; nice song writing; lots of nice multi-tracked guitar parts.

NOTE: Includes remixes of three songs from earlier LPs: Morning Song (from Mazeville) and "Brand New Day" and "On My Way with You" (from For Friends).

Includes original inner sleeve with printed lyrics.

Please see the two other Bruning titles I am offering right now.  Each came from someone who knew Bruning and helped him sell LPs at his shows.  This is the last sealed copy of this title I have.

About For the Records

I have been a record dealer for 23 years and an eBay member since 1999. I retired from listing items on eBay in 2003 because of my involvement in a retail store in Boulder, Colorado. Recently, the store was forced to close because the building was sold for demolition and redevelopment. I am now back on eBay offering high-quality items, carefully chosen and accurately described. Please bid with confidence.
