Description
Sealed, Smashing Pumpkins Adore, double vinyl monaural LP, Virgin/Caroline 2438-45879-1, original first pressing, 1998
Brand-new in shrink wrap with sticker. Has never been opened.
Should you open the record you would find that there is a black double vinyl copy of the album Adore recorded in monaural format and presented in a gate-fold sleeve.
The cover is in very good condition with only a small amount of storage wear on some of the corners (please view the pictures).
Adore was widely criticised upon its release due to its dramatic departure from the sound many had become accustomed to and associated with the band.
Following the massively successful Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness was always going to be a tall order. This album aims not to continue in the same vein as the Mellon Collie saga but instead responds to its aftermath.
Adore is subtle, dark, experimental and melodic. It has been described as "harmonies for dogs" due to some of its quiet almost inaudible tones.
It's simply a beautiful experience and an album full of auditory nuances to discover.
Don't hesitate to message me if you require any specific details or photos or need further clarity. I am happy to answer any questions.
I have purchased many vinyl records online over the years and I know the feeling of disappoint when one arrives damaged due to being poorly packed inside of a tiny mailer.
Rest assured that your album will be thoroughly packaged inside of an adequately sized box to avoid any transit mishaps.
