'The Rocky Horror Picture Show' is the original soundtrack album to the 1975 film, released by Ode Records. The album peaked at #49 on the Billboard 200 chart. There has been a cult classic renewed interest in the album and song, 'Let's Do The Time Warp Again'. The Rocky Horror Picture Show is a musical comedy horror film directed by Jim Sharman, with a large international following, and is often shown close to Halloween. The story centers on a young engaged couple whose car breaks down in the rain near a castle. Costumes from the film have directly impacted the development of punk rock fashion trends, such as ripped fishnets and dyed hair. It soon became known as a midnight movie, when audiences began participating with the film and dressing as the characters at The Waverly Theatre in New York City in 1976.
