Description

FACTORY SEALED and LONG OUT OF PRINT! EARTH, WIND & FIRE "GRATITUDE" 2-LPs Original 1st pressing, 1975, Columbia Records (PG 33694). Includes the original manufacturer's promotional sticker affixed to the shrink wrap.
Breathtaking and exemplary powerhouse of jazz fusion led by the incomparable Maurice White. Earth, Wind & Fire has been lauded by the gods of jazz such as Miles Davis (who does not throw out compliments to anyone randomly), John McLaughlin, Quincy Jones, among others. The band's influence has transcended all genres from the rhythmic jazz of the Yellow Jackets to the experimental rock-jazz soundscapes of Frank Zappa, and the multi-faceted power vocal of Annie Lennox to the punchy urban rap of Tupac Shakur.
This album includes the massive international hits "Singasong" and "Shining Star."
