SEALED - un-played - Wagner-Solti "Der Ring Des Nibelungen" Ring Cycle - 19 LP Box Set w/ Book. Some wear and tear our the outerbox - and a couple of the boxes inside have small holes in the original plastic (see pics) but the discs are un-played and the book is in great condition. --
Richard Wagner - The Ring of the Nibelungen (Complete Opera Cycle) – The Deluxe Large Boxset With Book – “The Ring Resounding.” Georg Solti conducting. All four operas of the Wagner Ring cycle are included: Das Rheingold (London OSA-1309, 3LP), Die Walkure (London OSA-1509, 5LP), Siegfried (London OSA-1508, 5LP), & Gotterdammerung (London OSA-1604, 6LP). Total 19 LPs in 4 individual boxsets. All boxsets include their original large program booklets. Pressed in England. All are contained within a large outer box that also holds the hardback book “The Ring Resounding” by John Culshaw. NM lps, NM+ booklets and NM boxes. The large outer box is VG with some edge wear and splits (because of the weight of the contents – expect splits to the outer box with shipping this heavy item). Featured singers include Brigit Nilsson, Wolfgang Windgassen, Hans Hotter, Christa Ludwig, Regine Crespin, Kirsten Flagstad, George London, Gerhard Stolze, Gustave Niedlinger, and Joan Sutherland. The Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra, Georg Solti conducting. Two of these boxsets (Rheingold & Gotterdamerrung) are on the TAS List (The Audiophile Sound’s list of best audiophile classical recordings). --
