Description
SEAN WRIGHT: strange situation/silent dreams
ELLIE JAY EJSP-8624 UK 1978 7" +foldover insert ps +lyric insert +xerox of another small insert
this is the original first issue of an obscure indie nwobhm release which is the same record as the more common International Heroes (Heavy Leather HLP-666 1982) or the more scarce Media (Press PR-001 1981) - [See Mario Panciera's 45 Revolutions and Malc Macmillan's nwobhm books for more details] - this copy comes with an f/o xerox insert in plastic bag (this is how it was issued as it's exactly the same as my copy) and a lyric insert - together I'm giving a xerox of another rarer insert that says "this song sheet is a limited edition of 50 so if you got one lend it to a friend p.s. tell 'em to buy it!" I guess this refers to the other insert which is an original so you probably get one of the original 50 inserts - I don't believe he sold many more copies anyway as the remaining Ellie Jay records were used for the 2 reissues with new labels glued on the old ones!
