Description

This is a fine copy from an early repressing (mid to late 1960s based on the disc labels) of the second LP by the Seeds, originally released in 1966.  Though coming out the same year as the group's eponymous debut, this LP finds the group starting to embrace psychedelia.  This move is evident as much the songs' subjects as in their sound, which retains its punky base: "Mr. Farmer," "Tripmaker," and "Rollin' Machine" in particular all speak to the joys of getting high.  The group also stretches out on a few songs, "A Faded Picture" (a weirdly sentimental look back at childhood) and the two jams on side 2, most notably "Up in Her Room," which is basically a more explicit version of the Rolling Stones' "Going Home."  The jacket has light ring, corner, and seam wear, light staining on the back cover, and light sticker residue on the front cover -- EX(+).  The disc is clean with a little light scuffing, and plays with minimal surface noise (M-).  The record comes with the original label inner sleeve.

I’m in the process of selling off a large personal collection amassed over two decades. All discs have been stored in plastic lined inner sleeves separate from their jackets. The jackets have been stored in plastic sleeves. I have play graded (spot checked) discs except where otherwise noted.

If you'd like to order multiple items, I'll happily combine them so that you won't have to pay multiple shipping charges.
