Description
SERGE GAINSBOURG & JANE BIRKIN "LA DECADANSE" (1972) This recording followed the husband and wife team's controversial version of "Je Taime Non Mon Plus", albeit more than a year later. "LA DECADANSE" was written by Gainsbourg and recorded with Birkin in French. This FONTANA 45 is the American release of the original french single, although the english translation of the lyrics is shown on the back of the sleeve. Side 2 features BIRKIN solo with a song by Gainsbourg and Jean-Claude Vannier, called 'LES LANGUES DE CHAT'. The FONTANA record number is F-1684.
