Description
THE BEATLES WHITE ALBUM 1st INDIA PRESSING DUM DUM UNIQUE LOW SERIAL 0000120
International buyers please contact me for a postage cost quote.
With much of the music on the White Album composed while The Beatles were in India. Here is an Indian 1st press, where it all began.
An incredibly rare opportunity to buy one of the lowest White Album serial numbers ever to show up on Ebay.
Serial Number - No. A 0000120
The LP and sleeve have been much loved and (sold) as photographed have names and marks from the original owner. Both Lp's have "Mfd in UK" written on them but this is a mistake as very early Indian Dum Dum EMI copies contain this mistake. The 1st LP stated "made in India" with serial numbers above 1000. Later copies both Lp's have "Mfd in India"
The LP's are graded as Good under the Record Collector guidlines.
It's an interesting record to listen to as certain sections are audibly different to my UK or Japanese versions.
Audibly been listened to many times and small clicks pops and surface noise can be heard in quieter sections.
The sleeve is Fair and as photographed the spine is split and at some point selotaped. Cover has the slots for records at the top, not on the sides as usual
SIDE 1 MATRIX = YEX 709-1 (6 aclock) - (with G embossed at 3 a'clock mark) SIDE 2 MATRIX = YEX 710-1 (7.30 a'clock) - (with G embossed at 3 a'clock mark) SIDE 3 MATRIX = YEX 711-1 (7 a'clock) (with G embossed at 3.30 a'clock mark) SIDE 4 MATRIX = YEX 712-1 (6 a'clock) (with G embossed at 2.30 a'clock mark)
This is a reluctant sale in order to raise money for a new guitar. From my own personal collection, the LP's have both been cleaned on a Keith Monks RCM. Enquiries welcome, I can offer more photos upon request. 100% good feedback, honest straightforward seller, please bid in confidence.
Will be packed extremely well and labeled Glass.
