THE SERPENT POWER - SELF TITLED 1ST (AND ONLY) LP
ORIGINAL 1967 VANGUARD RECORDS (VSD-79252).
ORIGINAL TAN (GOLD) STEREO LABEL!
This legendary mega-rare early psychedelic masterpiece by David and Tina Meltzer
and their band is a masterpiece of intricate, delicate minor-key harmonies
and arrangements with a gentle, trippy mood,
which has served as a formative experience for many other psychedelic bands to come.
Your psychedelic experience is utterly incomplete without this psychedelic cult classic.
THIS IS THE ORIGINAL, AUTHENTIC, FIRST U.S. PRESSING.
THIS IS NOT A REISSUE, AN IMPORT, OR A COUNTERFEIT PRESSING.
Cover : Vg Seam split on the spine. Store stamp and tear and stains on the back (see pics). Some light creases on the corners.
Vinyl : Ex Clean surface. Plays fine with occasional very light crackles (on a few tracks only) caused by pressing quality.
But nothing serious, plays fantastic throughout!
Grading is basically by visual inspection, but being a long-time record collector, I've gotten pretty good at it.
I will mention honestly if I play graded, which I do if it seems necessary.
I DO NOT SHIP TO RUSSIA. PLEASE SEE EXCLUSIONS.
