This is from a large Classical Vinyl LP collection that I have acquired. As with most classical collectors, the owner was very careful and diligent with his collection. Many of the vinyl look like they haven't been played or have been played on very few occasions and in some cases items are sealed/mint unplayed!!.

VINYL IN EXCELLENT TO NEAR MINT CONDITION

In nice clean condition, very little evidence of the vinyl being played

few light minor/superficial surface marks/light whispy lines visible - nothing serious - no deep scratches - Have checked vinyl under a bright light

Record labels are clean and the print is clearly visible.

No writing on the record label

No sticky residue or discoloration.

Except for few spidermarks - no significant spindle wear.

THE BOX & BOOKLET (LIBRETTO) IN EXCELLENT CONDITION

The box has general light storage wear from rubbing etc

The Box has been nicely cared for. Only very light age related wear - No splits  or tears.

The box has lasted very well - In nice condition for its age.

EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.

VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
