Description
I have up for auction a Set of 6 records (Longer Playing 12" 78) on the attractive blue and gold Columbia Viva-tonal label, probably later 1920s (or very early 30s). The records are #67751-D through #67566-D and probably Set No.136 (although no Set number given on the labels). It is by Philippe Gaubert & Paris Conservatory Orchestra performing Rimsky-Korsakow: "Scheherazade"-Symphonic Suite for Orchestra. The records proceed from First Movement through Finale concluded on the first 11 sides. The 12th side is by Enrique Fernandez Arbos & Madrid Symphony Orchestra with Granados: Goyescas: Intermezzo. The records are in excellent condition, hardly any wear and scuffs and scratches are very few, light and surface variety. Surfaces still quite shiny and clean.
