Description

I have up for auction a Set of 6 records (Longer Playing 12" 78s) on the attractive red and gold His Masters Voice made in England. It is The Bach Society: Suite No.1 In G Major, and Suite No.6 In D Major, 'Cello Unaccompanied by Pau Casals. The records are #D.B.8590 through D.B.8595 (D.B.8596, missing/broken, which is Part 1 of Suite No.6). Suite No.1 is completed on the A Side of the 6 records proceeding from First Movement-Prelude through 6th Movement-Gigue. Suite No.6 is 5/6th complete, proceeding from Part 2-Allemande through Part 6-Gigue on the B side of the 6 records. The records are in excellent condition, hardly any wear and scuffs and scratches are very few, light and surface variety. Surfaces still shiny and clean. Unfortunate that the second Suite (No.6) is not quite complete but on the other hand, it is fortunate Suite No.1 is intact. Still a great collectible, even as is. (last picture, I tried to show what the 7th record would have been; break to the far right-barely visible).
