Here it is, without a doubt, THE RAREST SEX PISTOLS live vinyl pressing - an original July 1977 copy
THE GOOD TIME MUSIC OF THE SEX PISTOLS on Manchester's very own WISE/P.F.P. label with Ian Hodges of The Worst on the front cover! THE GOOD TIME MUSIC OF THE SEX PISTOLS Recorded live at The Lesser Free Trade Hall, Manchester on the 4th June 1976, (not the 6th June as printed on the sleeve) this has got to be one of the most sought after SEX PISTOLS collectibles.
Research has shown that ONLY 90 TO 100 COPIES of this record were ever pressed with this cover !!!!
Also released as "No Fun", but this is the rarer version THE GOOD TIME MUSIC OF THE SEX PISTOLS with the "punk golfer" cover (the golfer was the singer from the Unwanted),. The record labels have "PFP No Fun" printed at the top and "No Fun 1" printed as the catalogue number.
The matrix number is No Fun 1 - A on side 1 and No Fun B on side 2. This album was originally released in 1977
Tracklisting Side 1 - Outa My Head (Did You No Wrong), Pushin' an' Shovin' (No Lip), I'm a Lazy Sod, Steppin' Stone, ??? (New York), Watcha gonna do about it. Side 2 - Substitute, Pretty Vacant, Problems, No Fun. Tracklisting taken from the cover as its printed
Vinyl: White PFP (Punk For Pleasure) labels with green text and 'No Fun' markings etched into the run-out grooves. The vinyl is in EX to VG. I have rated the vinyl between the EX to VG to fair to the purchaser. See record gradings below
Sleeve: Black and white sleeve with a photograph of The Worst's drummer - Ian Hodges - crouching over a number 13 hole on a golf course! The reverse of the sleeve is black (not blue!) and white. The sleeve EX to VG it has some minor scuffs and creases but is not torn or ripped or suffering any major defects' See record gradings below
Record Gradings Mint (M)The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet. booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records marked as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
Excellent (EX) The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
Very Good (VG) The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects is acceptable
Good (G)The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc
Fair (F)The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
Poor (P)The record will not play properly due to scratched, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing
Bad (B) The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler
