Description
PLEASE READ: first of all please have a look about all 9 scans provided for this superclean original first print from 1977. Another eBay seller is offering this rarity for €2.750 (approx. £2,445). I know I should offer this monster rarity at CHRISTIE'S or SOTHEBY'S AUCTIONS but I prefer to give anyone a chance to make their own bid. Here it is, the rarest SEX PISTOLS item I have ever seen on sale (except acetates and test pressings). This 20-page booklet was ONLY MADE IN GERMANY. An incredible, extremely rare PROMO-ONLY RELEASE by ARIOLA RECORDS, here in Germany. As you can see from the scans, most of the text is printed in German language. It shows superb comic drawings by Mark Jay, with English text including a short bio for each of the protagonists including Glen and Malcolm. When you check the scans you will realize how much time Mark spent to make this PROMO-ONLY pressing sooo collectable. PAUL COOK. Drummer and the “quiet one of the group”. Consequently there’s nothing to write about him. STEVE JONES. Guitarist with a large amount of charisma. Is currently re-writing the “guitar hero’s pose book”. Enjoys 10cc and is beginning to get fat. Used to sing until he discovered he couldn’t. Mark Jay was the editor of SKUM fanzine in 1976/77 and designer / cartoonist of the 'SEX PISTOLS STORY SO FAR' poster.
