Old eBay price: £51. Rare 'Virgin' press release from 1977. I worked for RICHARD BRANSON at VIRGIN RECORDS, here in Germany, before I became a full-time record dealer in the 90’s. The following item, on offer here, is an original first VIRGIN release. First Virgin release means these sheets would always be photocopies, which were copied from the original sheets, by staff, to promote the band. This 6-page A4 size rarity is entitled VIRGIN INFORMATION. As you can see these 6 pages were stapled but the staple was rusty, so I opened and removed the staple....sometime ago. THESE WERE PRODUCED IN VERY SMALL QUANTITIES MAINLY FOR THOSE CONNECTED EITHER WITH THE LABEL, MUSIC BUSINESS WRITERS OR RADIO DJs. These info sheets run through the group's history up to the point of signing to VIRGIN and where written by journalist Caroline Coon. Bloody rare!!
