Description
• Disc condition: EX - Vinyl is nice and flat to the deck. Thicker vinyl than the standard CBS pressings, this one is pressed at Orlake. No dishing/warping to it. Clean labels. Housed with (we believe) original paper inner dated R.S. 9-77 which is correct to this release. The inner sleeve has a pencil writing as well on it (see photo). The vinyl under a strong light has a few faint hairlines (from taking in and out of the paper inner). Plays really loud and punchy. Minimal crackle to it.
• 7" Disc condition: EX - Under a strong light, just a few faint hairlines and a few faint marks. Similar to the album, punchy audio. In a slightly yellowed plain paper sleeve, likely original. The sleeve for this is slightly creased.
• Sleeve condition: VG+ Matte print fluorescent yellow and pink 11-track unboxed Virgin logo sleeve, still retains its eye popping impact. It has light handling to it, a little creasing at spine edge, a couple of thumb creases, and tiny bit of wear on the spine, however lettering on the spine is all legible. Looks VG++ over all.
• Poster condition: VG+ Single sided large folded poster measures 65 x 100 cms. Apart from the folds, It has some additional creasing to it (see photos). No pinholes and no tears noticeable.
• Matrix/Mothers: (hand etched) V-2086 A3 B V OS V-2086 B1 X (D) - the last letter is slightly obscured by the label.
• 11 track black vinyl LP with one-sided single with plain white label on the blank side and large poster. This is regarded as the Spots 001 edition. This issue with 11 tracks listed on rear sleeve features matrix combination A3 / B1 only. SPOTS is a reference to the package :- LP, shrink wrap, sticker, 7" single & NMTB poster. (However some SPOTS editions were not shrink wrapped but did come with 7" single & NMTB poster.). 'Submission' one-sided 7" single, with a silent groove on the B side. 'Never Mind The Bollocks' single-sided poster (approx: 100 cm x 65 cm) folded. On inner sleeve: Made In England R.S. 9-77. Additionally, this particular pressing is identified by the heavy indentation ring in the centre of the label, this indentation is typical of the Orlake pressing plant UK. This is a really great and complete example of the legendary SPOTS 001 edition! Please note this listing is for the album (not shrinkwrapped), 7" single and poster as graded above.
