This is an original UK 11 track pressing, complete with 7" Submission single and large poster. This album has been in my own personal collection since it was first released. I never really liked the production on this one, I bought the Spunk bootleg just before this album was released, and I thought that was so much better, sounding really raw and much more as they were live. Anyway, here's your chance to grab a rare complete original package, not one of those nasty, silly, coloured vinyl "repressings" that keep cropping up on Ebay!
Released on Virgin, catalogue no: V2086. Matrix numbers etched into the run-out grooves are:
- Side 1: V2086-A-3
- Side 2: V2086-B-1
CONDITION:
- Vinyl LP: EXCELLENT - 11 track vinyl, been well looked after and seldom played.
- Sleeve: EXCELLENT. Just one very light crease, and a very slightly dented corner. Other than that, it still looks like new with no edge scuffing. The spine is nice and sharp with the writing clearly legible. Nice and clean, unusual to find this sleeve so clean, the matt finish usually attracts dirt and fingerprints, but this has been in my personal collection, always stored in a thin plastic outer sleeve. The sleeve has the tracks listed on the back, with the omission of "Submission".
- Submission 7": EXCELLENT. I think I have only ever played this single once when I first bought the LP. It still looks like new!
- Poster: These things are always hard to grade as people's opinions differ on condition, so I'll just describe it as accurately as possible instead. This poster was mounted on my wall when I first bought the album, but I'm pleased to say I used blue tack and not pins, so it has no pin holes. However, it does have a total of 9 small marks around the edges on the face of the poster caused by applying pressure with my thumb against the blue tack. You can see one of these marks in the close-up picture of the poster below. There is just one single split in one of the folds by the edge, this is only about an inch long.
