Description
Beautiful copy of rare Shafran performances of the Shostakovich Cello Sonata and Schubert "Arpeggione" Sonata, with Lydia Pecherskaya, pianist. RCA Shaded Dog Indianapolis pressing, stereo.
Records cleaned with Record Research fluids on VPI record vacuum. Marks--if any--are noted and tested for audibility. Complex and taxing sections are play-tested for inner-groove distortion. I use the Goldmine grading system. All Lp's objectively-graded regardless of worth or vintage. Lp's shipped within 24 hours of payment in dedicated lp mailers.
Vinyl: NM (high-gloss, flat, dust-free, no scratches/hairlines of any sort, slightest non-sounding paper scuffs under brightest light, looks unplayed/unhandled. SMALL, SHARP PRESSING BUBBLE CAUSES 10 "THUPS" IN TRACK ONE OF THE SHOSTAKOVICH. MY DYNA XX2/VPI ARM TRACKED IT PERFECTLY)
Cover: MN- (Sharp corners with very slight wear, trace of ring-wear, looks very little-handled, as does the lp. Small sticker upper right back corner) Shipping to Europe: $13.50, to Asia $15.50
