Threading synth-laced pop with moon stomp glam-rock, Sacred Heart was the first full taste of the world of Shakespears Sister.
With their contrasting vocal styles and imaginative songwriting, Siobhan Fahey and Marcella Detroit carved their own dark, glittering corner of pop’s pantheon. The album reached Gold status in the UK and Australia and featured the hit singles ‘You’re History’, ‘Run Silent’, alongside fan favourites ‘Dirty Mind’, ‘Heroine’, and ‘Break My Heart’.
To celebrate 34 years of Sacred Heart, Siobhan Fahey will be signing a strictly limited number of copies of the recently re-issued vinyl album, available exclusively here and available to post at the end of September - NOT BEFORE.”
