Formed in 1968 in Birmingham,England , Shakey Vick was a short-lived band fronted by Graham Vickery (vocals, harmonica). Bruce Langman (guitar), Nigel Tickler (bass) and Ned Balen (drums) completed the line-up. The group was signed by Pye Records in 1969 as the label embraced contemporary music. `Little Woman You’re So Sweet` was recorded live at Birmingham’s Mother’s club (as was Pink Floyds Ummagumma), a popular venue on the ‘underground’ circuit. The ensuing raw atmosphere enlivens the set. Shakey Vick split up after this one album
