Description
This is a used copy of Sharon Jones’ 1996 “Bump N Touch” 7” vinyl single from the US (Desco, DS-1005). This was her second 7” for Desco Records, long before her stuff with The Dap-Kings. Recorded by Gabriel Roth and backed by The Soul Providers. “Hook N Sling Meets The Funky Superfly” is a medley of Eddie Bo’s “Hook And Sling” and Bobby Williams’ “Funky Superfly.” Neither of these songs appear on any of her albums. Only 500 copies were pressed up. Out of print and rare.
A: “Bump N Touch” (Part 1)
B: “Hook N Sling Meets The Funky Superfly”
While the record is used it’s in excellent condition. I collect records so when I got this bagged it and kept it on a shelf where it’s been for years. Shipping is $4 in the US and $7 everywhere else; I will combine shipping costs for multiple purchases so check out my other auctions. I only accept payment through PayPal.
