On offer here is a VERY rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by Shawn Phillips called "I'm A Loner" and is an ORIGINAL 1965 UK 1st Pressing on the 1st Press Blue/Black Columbia label!!!! THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!! THIS IS ONE OF THE RAREST LPs ON THE COLUMBIA LABEL - AND VIRTUALLY NEVER TURNS UP FOR SALE!!!! JUST TRY AND FIND ANOTHER ONE!!!! BACK IN 1965 WHEN THIS LP WAS FIRST RELEASED, IT ONLY EVER SOLD IN ABSOLUTELY TINY AMOUNTS - AND WAS ALMOST IMMEDIATELY DELETED!!!! AS A RESULT IT IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND INCREDIBLY HARD TO LOCATE TODAY!!!! NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS LP IS IN GREAT CONDITION OVERALL AND VERY PRESENTABLE INDEED!!!! AND IT IS ALSO WORTH REMEMBERING THAT THIS ONE OF THE ALL TIME RAREST UK RELEASED FOLK LPs EVER MADE - AND IT WILL SURELY BE A VERY VERY LONG TIME (IF EVER!) BEFORE YOU EVER SEE ANOTHER ONE!!!! JUST TAKE A LOOK AT THE PICTURES!!!! THIS IS THE ORIGINAL 1965 UK MONO 1ST PRESSING ON THE 1ST PRESS BLUE/BLACK COLUMBIA LABEL, 1ST PRESS EMITEX INNER SLEEVE, AND 1ST PRESS 'GARROD & LOFTHOUSE' FLIPBACK LAMINATED 'PATENTS PENDING' COVER!!!! THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND SIMPLY IMPOSSIBLE TO LOCATE - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS INCREDIBLE OPPORTUNITY!!!! This is the ORIGINAL Columbia UK 1st Pressing from 1965 and is in GREAT condition overall!!!! The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl. The Cat. No is 33SX 1748 on the ORIGINAL 1st Press Blue/Black Columbia label (see picture) and is a UK MONO 1st Pressing!!!!
The record labels are in BRILLIANT condition (see pictures) with NO wear, NO writing and only a few light spindle marks!!!! The vinyl is in GREAT condition overall!!!! Most of these 60s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO nasty deep scratches, NO obvious marks of ANY kind, only a few light hairlines, NO scufflines, and only a few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!! THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK!!!! The record plays with NO nasty loud pops, only a VERY few VERY low level clicks, NO jumps, NO sticks, and barely ANY crackle AT ALL!!!! There is also some background sound on the run on grooves & gaps - though this is lost WELL behind the music which plays VERY well indeed!!!! The sound quality is simply SUPERB with NO distortion and NO groovewear either!!!! The record must grade Very Good (PROPERLY graded, NOT trashed) if not better!!!! Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! The record also comes in its ORIGINAL 1st Press Emitex inner sleeve which is in BRILLIANT condition!!!! The 1st Press 'Garrod & Lofthouse' Flipback Laminated 'Patents Pending' MONO Cover is in GREAT condition!!!! It has barely ANY edge wear AT ALL, NO spinal wear, only slight corner wear (NOT through the colour!), shiny laminate, only a few creases (cover is still VERY flat looking!), and NO writing!!!! The opening edge is beautifully straight with NO feathering!!!! Even the unlaminated back of the cover is in GREAT condition with barely ANY grubbyness AT ALL, NO yellowing, NO ringwear, barely ANY rubbing AT ALL, and NO writing!!!! The cover must MEGA STRICTLY grade Very Good(Minus) (PROPERLY graded, NOT trashed) if not better - and has absolutely NO major defects AT ALL (NO rips, NO tears, NO writing, NO splits, etc!)!!!! THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND SIMPLY IMPOSSIBLE TO LOCATE - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS ULTRA RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!!
