TITLE/INFO: I'll be listing more old and rare 45's over these next few weeks/months, as well as more early '50's-'60's EP's and LP's, so if you have interest in great conditioned "oldies" please continue to check in on my site - and thank you in advance. This rare, early '60's 45 with it's picture sleeve by the popular '60's female singer/actress, Shelley Fabares - the follow up sequel to her previous smash hit, "Johnny Angel" and just her 2nd ever solo release. It is entitled "Johnny Loves Me/I'm Growing Up" from 1962 - and both sides are super enjoyable. While Ms. Fabares is probably better known for her TV and movie acting career (she co-starred with Elvis in three (3) of his movies), she did release several very good records back in the mid-'60's when she was also starring in the TV sitcom, "The Donna Reed Show". In my opinion, this 45/pic sleeve combo is in excellent condition, but please read on and check out all the pictures above. LABEL INFO: This original, Colpix Label (636) is flawless with no issues at all. I don't even see any spindle lines around the center circle, which indicates very light play. VINYL INFO: The vinyl is also super clean and nice and nearly perfect. PICTURE SLEEVE: Finally, the attractive picture sleeve is also in excellent shape with no serious flaws either. Maybe just a little bit of super light ring wear in a couple of places - but, in my opinion nothing too serious at all (see pics above). INTERESTING FACTS: Yes, this early and rare 45 with it's picture sleeve is in excellent shape and, as always, I have begun the auction at a low opening bid and have no reserve price - just free and open bidding - so good luck! FYI, if anyone wants to bid on multiple items to save postage costs, I am more than happy to "save" your winning pieces here at the house until you are ready for shipping - just tell me ahead of time and please pay as you win them. In addition to this record, I will continue to list many other RnR/R&B LP's, EP's, and 45's by 1950-60's artists----and even some C&W LPs/45's, too. I am selling off my entire personal collection, and there are 1000's of more records to list yet -- of all varieties and genres. POSTAGE/HANDLING CHARGES: In the United States, the buyer agrees to pay $4.00 (1st Class Mail and Delivery Confirmation) for the first 45 purchased, and then just $.50 per 45 after that-----so, buy in quantity and save. These are U.S. rates only, and all foreign winners will have to await an email me for their exact costs, although I will send a detailed invoice as soon as the auction is over---but, there too, it is cheaper to send multiple pieces. The charges for overseas are $18.00 for the 1st 45 and then just $2.00 per 45 after that. PLEASE NOTE: I will not be responsible for records that are lost or damaged by either US or overseas Postal Services.
