GUYDEN GLP 503 (US mono LP)
The gals of “Pop Pop Pop-Pie” fame got their own long-player while they were still hot. It's become one of the single-most sought after artifacts of the girl group genre!
Here’s a rare copy that was once owned by a Hawaiian, FWIW. Oodles of songs by Johnny Madara and Dave White distinguish this scarce, toe-tappin’ platter! Take a listen to the album's big hit, in a direct-from-vinyl sound file:
Condition:
JACKET: Moderate-to-heavy rubwear on front jacket panel. Color pic of girls has some scuffs in area, but is still solid. Spine has flecking which obscures some of the text therein. Bottom seam has a 1” split. Both edge seams have rubwear. Original owner’s name written in pen to top of back panel. Rubwear to back panel; all text and images are clear and intact. Overall, this sleeve is a solid VG++.
VINYL: A classic “plays better than it looks” album. As you can hear, from the above sound sample, the music comes strong and clear through the grooves, despite a little bit of occasional snap ‘n’ sizzle. Silver-and-purple labels have stickers to each side from proud original owner, Laverne Ferreira. This disc rates a strong VG+++.
