SHILOH • AMOS AAS7015 • Stereo • 1971 • RARE!!
Vinyl and cover Near Mint. Bumped lower right corner of cover is the only flaw to this superbly preserved LP (Stored and shipped in poly outer sleeve -from a smoke-free home!)
Features pre-Eagles Don Henly and Pre-Flying Burrito Bros Al Perkins.
Great country rock w/ Henley on lead vocals and guitar; Al Perkins on phenomenal Steel guitar and harmony vocals. Band at this time also featured brothers Mike and Richard Bowden plus Jim Norman. GREAT collectable for eagles Fans! The sound is similar to 1st Eagles album in many ways, not least of which is the great harmony vocal work and down home feel. The subject matter embraced Christian themes in some songs. A good feeling, laid-back sound with plenty of fire, perfect for early Eagles, Pure Prairie League and Burrito Bros. fans! Be sure to check out my other auction for their 1977 Shiloh album, Confession! That one is even harder to find!
