Description

A lovely copy of Shirley Collin’s iconic album “Amaranth” released on the Harvest label in 1976.

The album features the landmark “Anthems in Eden” suite originally recorded in 1969 with instrumental settings by Dolly Collins and played on early instruments under the directorship of David Munrow.  The suite is coupled on this album with a new set of songs that Shirley chose herself for her final LP.

The vinyl grades EX+ and retains a bright sheen with just a few very faint surface marks only visible under strong light. Thorough play testing reveals superb sound without pops, clicks or crackle.

The textured sleeve grades EX+ being bright, clean and unmarked by any writing or sticker residues. There is no creasing and very little apparent shelfwear.

The inner sleeve is the original white EMI sleeve.

The labels are unmarked by writing and there is only a minimum of spindle marking. The run-off matrix read A2/B2.

In essence, a classic folk album in lovely condition and a must for any collection of the English Tradition.

At the moment I regret that I am only posting to the UK and just Paypal please.

Many thanks for looking!

For your information the gradings I use are as follows:-

Mint (M) - Brand New (Sealed)

Near mint (NM) - Looks almost unplayed * Cover almost brand new

Excellent (EX) - Maybe a light scuff but otherwise great condition * Cover will have some wear/slight crease/faint ring wear etc

Very good (VG) - Could have scuffing and some light scratches etc *Cover might have some creasing/fading/ring wear/marks or writing but still reasonable condition

Good (G)  - Should play through ok but will have plenty of scratches etc * Cover could be ripped/stained/unglued etc

Fair - Very ordinary/ Might play but most likely just for the collection* Cover will be pretty terrible.

+, ++ or - (minus) after the grading denote variations
