A first issue 1967 UK mono copy in original condition, featuring:

1. earliest original UK 1967 first issue mono sleeve, printed and made by, ‘E J Day’,

2. original first issue UK mono record matrix of, A1 / B1,

3. original first issue 1967 UK mono record made of the period quality, ‘thick heavy’ vinyl,

4. earliest original 1967 UK CBS mono, Orange ‘textured’ and ‘ridged’ record labels. On side one there is an ‘outer’ ridge but on side two the ‘ridge’ is further away from the outer edge,

5. comes with its original period UK 1967, ‘CBS’ advertising inner sleeve.

CONDITION:

THE MAIN SLEEVE: is in near excellent condition, the front of the sleeve is laminated. The two opening edges are excellent and have remained clean and sharp. The spine is in very good+ condition and all of the text on the spine is still readable. Theres NO pen writing, tears, splits, stickers or sticker residue to the sleeve. On the rear of the sleeve, top left there is an original shop, ‘decimal’ price stamped in black ink of ‘49p’. There are two small numbers written in pencil on the rear of the sleeve.

THE INNER SLEEVE: is in excellent++ condition and is the original period ‘CBS’ UK 1967 Orange advertising inner sleeve. The two opening edges are excellent and have remained clean and unworn. Theres NO pen writing, tears, spits, stickers or sticker residue to the inner sleeve.

THE RECORD: side one and two are in excellent condition, Note - the condition of the playing surfaces have been graded under ‘normal daylight’ conditions. The record is made from the period 1960s quality thick, heavy vinyl. The record has remained very dark and glossy.

The records ‘engraved’ matrix are: side one – 63044 A1, Side two - 630044 B1,

THE AUDIO: each side of the record plays excellent. The record plays with a full powerful period ‘mono’ sound. The record lays flat on the turntable.

THE RECORD LABELS: side one is in MINT condition, side two is in excellent++ condition. Each of the record labels are free from any pen writing, stickers or sticker residue.

TO GRADE THE CONDITION OF THE RECORD I AM USING THE OFFICIAL GRADING SYSTEM FROM THE ‘RECORD COLLECTOR’ MAGAZINE.

PACKING - ALL RECORDS ARE POSTED WITH MULTI LAYERED CARD STIFFENERS FOR PROTECTION. BEFORE POSTING, THE RECORD IS REMOVED FROM THE RECORDS ORIGINAL INNER AND OUTER SLEEVE, THE RECORD IS THEN PUT INTO A SECOND PAPER INNER SLEEVE TO MINIMISE ANY DAMAGE THAT MAY OCCUR WHILE IN TRANSIT. THE RECORD / SLEEVES ARE THEN PUT INTO A NEW PLASTIC SLEEVE FOR FURTHER PROTECTION.
